BOULDER, Colo. - The greatest mile time in the State of Colorado history belongs to Colorado State University Pueblo superstar mid-distance runner Reece Sharman Newell, as the Englishman made history over the weekend in Boulder, Colo.

Sharman Newell, the 8x All-American became the first runner to run a sub-four minute mile on Saturday, running a time of 3:59.37, which was converted to 3:53.54 at altitude. Three runners ran a sub-four minute mile on Saturday, Sharman-Newell, unattached runner Yasin Sado, and Colorado University runner Isaiah Givens.
