PUEBLO, Colo. (September 17, 2024) - The Colorado State University Pueblo women's soccer team will open the home portion of its schedule this week and welcomes No. 10 Tampa and No. 7 Cal Poly Pomona to Pueblo for a pair of nonconference matches set for a 7 p.m. kickoff at Art & Lorraine Gonzales Stadium.
CSU Pueblo returns to the friendly confines of Gonzales Stadium and will face a tough task to wrap nonconference play.
The Pack enter the week 1-1-2 and suffered the first loss of the season on Sunday at the hands of Cal State San Marcos.
For the ThunderWolves, Cameron Farthing (Jr., Coventry, England), Sydney Lasater (Sr., Colorado Springs, Colo.) and Abby Menk (So., Delano, Minn.) have all scored goals this year.
Lasater leads the team with six shots and Caytlynn Garland (So., Gillette, Wyo.) has registered a team-high five shots on goal.Â
At the net, Elaina Leitner (Fr., Longmont, Colo.) and Jacqueline Dominguez (R-Sr., Watkins, Colo.) have shared duties between the posts and have made 22 saves combined and have allowed five goals.

This week will be the first time the ThunderWolves and Tampa and CPP have faced off in program history.

After the homestand, CSU Pueblo will go back on the road and begin Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play Sep. 27 at Fort Lewis and Sep. 29Â at Mines.Â
