DENVER, Colo. (September 10, 2024) - The No. 20 ranked Colorado State University Pueblo men's golf team wrapped up the first tournament of season and finished in fifth place at The Writz at Mile High, held at Bear Creek Golf Club in Denver.
The ThunderWolves shot 900 over three rounds with scores of 303-303-294 and was paced at the tournament by newcomer
Marius Dosiere (Jr., Fouras, France) who placed 7th overall and shot 5-over 221.
Thomas Craig (Sr., Falkirk, Scotland)Â and
Archie Wyatt (Jr., Edinburgh, Scotland) finished T-17th overall. Craig vaulted eight spots from round two and finished 11-over 227 after posting an even-par on Tuesday.
Wyatt shot 1-over 73 on Tuesday and leaped six spots.
Also finishing in the Top 20 for the Pack was
Callum Keanneally (Duns, Scotland) at 12-over 228. He carded scores of 78-76-74 over two days.
Agustin Pizzorno (Jr., Uruguay) rounds out the field for the ThunderWolves and placed 30th overall and finished 18-over 234.
Up next, CSU Pueblo returns home and will host the Sam Proal Invite on Sep. 16-17 at The Walking Stick Golf Course.
