STOCKTON, Calif. – The Colorado State University Pueblo women's golf team is staying strong at the 2024 NCAA Division II West Region, sitting in a tie for fifth place at Brookside County Club.
The ThunderWolves shot a solid second round score of 10 over (298) and sit in a tie with St. Mary's (TX). Five teams advance to the National Championship. West Texas A&M is in first place at three under par.
Brookside County Club is playing tough this week with high rough and tough winds. The par 72 track is playing 5,972 yards this week.
Kylie Severin (Aurora, Colo./Vista Peak Prep) led the way for CSU Pueblo, as the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Player of the Year hopeful fired her second straight round under par, shooting one-under (71). Severin sits in a tie for first place individually in the tournament at five under par.
Freya Constable (Edinburgh, Scotland/Boroghmuir) had a solid day, shooting three-over (75), while
Lisa Ekberg (Kingsbacka, Sweden) joined Constable, shooting a three-over (75).

Zoey Rodriguez (Pueblo, Colo./Pueblo South) shot a five-over round (77), while
Anju Ogi (Arvada, Colo./Arvada West) shot a six-over round (78).
