PUEBLO, Colo. (April 25, 2024) - Colorado State University Pueblo's
Freya Constable (So., Edinburgh, Scotland) and
Kyle Parker (So., Hamilton, New Zealand) have been named Pack Student-Athletes of the Week, presented by Graham's Grill.
Constable helped to lead the Pack women's golf team to secure their fifth Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Championship title, most in the RMAC. The ThunderWolves have won in the years 2012, 2014, 2019, 2023 and now 2024.
Constable took home silver medalist honors with a three-day total of three over par (69-75-75).
With the win CSU Pueblo clinches their postseason berth into the NCAA West Regional. The West Region will be held in Stockton, Calif. at Brookside Golf and Country Club. The NCAA Divsion II Women's Golf selection show will be held on Monday, April 29 at 4 p.m. ET.
On the men's side, Parker scored eight goals and finished with nine points last week for the Pack men's lacrosse team. Parker finished with 16 shots including eleven shots on goal.
Against Westminster, he made six goals and an assist for seven points.Â
Sunday against Colorado Mesa, Parker registered two goals on five shots. He totaled three ground balls while on the field.
