TUCSON, Ariz. – The Colorado State University Pueblo women's golf team finished sixth place at West Texas A&M Desert Invite, which was held at The Lodge at Ventana Canyon.
The Pack posted a team score of 620 (309-311) in the 36-hole event. The Pack finished one stroke back of both Texas A&M International and Western New Mexico for fourth place.
CSU Pueblo was led by who else other than senior
Kylie Severin (Aurora, Colo./Vista Peak Prep), who shot even par for the two days (72-72). Severin, who is coming off winning the Southern Colorado Open last week, took home second place in this weeks' event.
Sophomore
Freya Constable (Edinburgh, Scotland/Boroghmuir) finished T31 with rounds of 79-78, while freshman
Lisa Ekberg (Kingsbacka, Sweeden) finished T37 with rounds of 78-81.
Junior
Anju Ogi (Arvada, Colo./Arvada West) finished T49 with rounds of 80-80, while junior
Zoey Rodriguez (Pueblo, Colo./Pueblo South) rounded out the top five with rounds of 83-84 to finished T80.

CSU Pueblo will make the quick trip up I-10 to Phoenix to compete in the RJGA Palm Valley Classic hosted by Western New Mexico University this Friday and Saturday at Palm Valley Golf Club.
