SAN DIEGO, Calif. (February 13, 2024) - No. 3 Colorado State University Pueblo men's golf made their spring debut and competed at the Fujikara Invitational hosted by Cal State San Marcos at the Shadowridge Country Club.

Jamie Roberts (Sr., Kinross, Scotland) paced the ThunderWolves with a T-6th place finish and shot a 2-under 214 in the tournament and went 1-under in Tuesday's third round. 

Roberts carded scores of 72-71-71 at the two-day event and sank seven birdied and one shot for eagle on the par-5 hole 1 during the second round.

Vaulting nine spots into a T-12th place finish, Jeffrey Nelson (Jr., Commerce City, Colo.) finished his spring debut even-par 216 after scoring a 1-under 71 on Tuesday.

He finished 12 birdies in the tournament.

Colt Tenpenny (So., Fulshear, Tex.) placed T-20th overall with a +3 219. The 5-foot-10 sophomore was successful on 12 birdie shots including five on Monday.

Archie Wyatt (So., Edinburgh, Scotland) ended the week T-23rd and finished with a team-high 13 birdies. Wyatt scored seven birdied in the second round for the ThunderWolves.

Rounding out the field, Paraic McGrath (Fr., Galway, Ireland) placed T-40th at +9 225 and earned eight birdies to his credit.

Up next, CSU Pueblo will turn its attention to the next outing at the Battle of the Desert hosted by Cal State San Bernardino at the Rams Hills Golf Club in Borrego Springs, Calif.
