Men's Basketball Earns Seven Votes in Latest NABC Division II Coaches Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Thanks to opening the 2024-25 season with a 7-1 record, the Colorado State University Pueblo men's basketball team received votes for the second time this season in this week's latest NABC Division II Coaches Poll that was released Tuesday afternoon.
 
In this week's fourth poll of the 2024-25 regular season, the ThunderWolves, who open the home portion of its Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference schedule on Thursday with a 7:30 p.m. game against Chadron State, earned seven votes in the poll to sit ninth out of the 18 teams that earned votes this week.
 
The Pack are one of three schools from the RMAC included in this week's fourth regular season NABC Coaches poll as Colorado School of Mines (6-1) is ranked 10th and MSU Denver (7-1) is ranked 23rd.
 
Along with receiving votes in the NABC Division II Coaches poll, the Pack is ranked fifth in this week's latest D2CIDA South Central Regional rankings. In the D2CIDA South Central Regional poll, the Pack is one of six league schools either ranked or receiving votes as Mines is ranked No. 2, MSU Denver is ranked No. 4 and UCCS (5-3) is ranked 10th. In addition, Westminster (7-3) and New Mexico Highlands (6-3) received two and one vote respectively.
 
The Pack, who are one of four teams in the RMAC sporting a 2-0 league record, opens the home portion of its RMAC schedule this weekend with games on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. against Chadron State and Saturday at 3 p.m. against South Dakota Mines.
