ThunderWolves set to host games against MSU Denver Friday and Colorado Christian on Sunday

PUEBLO, Colo. (September 26, 2024) - The Colorado State University Pueblo women's soccer team returns home this week and will continue Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play on Thursday and welcome MSU Denver to Art & Lorraine Gonzales Stadium for a 7 p.m. kickoff on Pueblo Rangers Girls Soccer Night.

The ThunderWolves close out the weekend on Sunday and host Colorado Christian for Alumni Appreciation Day, starting at 1 p.m. 

CSU Pueblo gets back on the pitch after a pair of losses last week against Fort Lewis and then-No. 3 Mines.

Sydney Lasater (Sr., Colorado Springs, Colo.) scored her team-leading fourth goal of the year during Friday's match at Fort Lewis.

At the net, Elaina Leitner (Fr., Longmont, Colo.) has made 26 saves this season in six games played.

Series History
The ThunderWolves are 5-15 against MSU Denver and are 5-5 in the last ten meetings. CSU Pueblo last beat the Roadrunners on Oct. 10, 2021 in Pueblo.

Against CCU, the Pack are 13-4-3 all-time. The last ThunderWolves win came on Oct. 20, 2022, a 4-1 win in Pueblo.

CSU Pueblo will hit the road next week and compete at Western Colorado on Oct. 11 starting at 7 p.m. in Gunnison.
