PUEBLO, Colo. (October 16, 2024) - The No. 9 ranked Colorado State University Pueblo men's soccer team will continue its homestand this week and battle Adams State on Thursday starting at 7 p.m. and will host Fort Lewis on Sunday for a 2:30 p.m. kickoff, both games at Art & Lorraine Gonzales Stadium.
The games will be part of a doubleheader at Gonzales Stadium as the women's team will play ahead of the men's game on both days.
The ThunderWolves are back on the pitch after securing a 1-0 victory over Colorado Christian last Sunday at Gonzales Stadium.
Shjon Andrews (Gr., Longmont, Colo.) scored the only goal of the contest during the 26th minute for the Pack. Ignatius DeMark (Sr., Phoenix, Ariz.) was credited with an assist after a long throw in landed inside the box and Andrews was able to finish.
Defensively, CSU Pueblo did not allow a shot on goal and only five total shots in the win.
Andrews has three game-winning goals as CSU Pueblo remains unbeaten in league play.
At the net, Ruben Volkert (Gr., Baden-Württemberg, Germany) had another outstanding game and stood tall against five total shots and zero SOG from the Cougars.
The ThunderWolves recorded six corners and allowed one to CCU.
Series History
CSU Pueblo and Adams State have a long history within the RMAC. The ThunderWolves hold a 22-2-1 record dating back to 2007 and are on a 7-game win streak over ASU. The ThunderWolves are 10-2 in games played in Pueblo.
Against Fort Lewis, the Pack are 4-24-2 and are 3-5-2 in the last ten meetings.

The ThunderWolves go on the road next week and play at Westminster on Oct. 24 and at Colorado Mesa on Oct. 27.
