PUEBLO, Colo. (October 10, 2024) - The Colorado State University Pueblo women's soccer team will play in one contest this week and travel west for a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference match against Western Colorado on Friday at 7 p.m. at Katy O'Rady Field in Gunnison.
CSU Pueblo returns to action after a 1-1 week of competition last week and scored its first RMAC win of the season Sunday against Colorado Christian, a 1-0 Pack victory.
Carlia Johnson (Jr., The Valley, Anguilla) netted her first goal of the season and the only score of the game to lift the ThunderWolves to victory.
Caytlynn Garland (So., Gillette, Wyo.) and Sydney Lasater (Sr., Colorado Springs, Colo.) both earned assists on the scoring play.
Series History
Against Western Colorado, CSU Pueblo holds a 4-2-2 record all-time. The ThunderWolves are 3-2 in the last five outings including a 3-0 win last season in Pueblo.
In Sight for the Pack
CSU Pueblo returns home next week and will host Regis on Thursday, Oct. 17 at 4 p.m. and Black Hills State on Sunday, Oct. 20 at 11 a.m., both matches will be at Art & Lorraine Gonzales Stadium.
