DALLAS, Tex. (May 9, 2023) - The Colorado State University women's golf season came to an end after placing eighth at the NCAA West Regional over three rounds played at the Golf Club of Dallas in Dallas, Texas.
Dallas Baptist defeated West Texas A&M in the first hole of a sudden death playoff, with a Score of -2 to E to secure the team title.
Due to poor weather forecast, rounds two and three were played on Tuesday.
The Pack were led by
Minna Archer (Fr., Bradenton, Fla.) who finished T-20th overall and 9-over 219 through three rounds. Archer shot a team-best Even par-70 and sank three birdies during round three and ended with seven total birdies.Â
Reigning Co-RMAC Champion,
Kylie Severin (Aurora, Colo.) was 33rd overall and scored +16 226 and earned identical 76 scores during Tuesday's round two and three. Severin hit on four birdie attempts.
Landing T-35th,
Freya Constable (Fr., Edinburgh, Scotland) and
Zoey Rodriguez (So., Pueblo, Colo.) paced the ThunderWolves at 18-over 228.Â
Constable recorded four birdies, while Rodriguez finished with a team-high eight birdies in the tournament.
Rounding out the field,
Anju Ogi (So., Arvada, Colo.) placed 61st and earned a +27 237 in her first NCAA Postseason Tournament.
