WARREN, Ohio (May 24, 2023) - Colorado State University Pueblo men's golfer
Liam Duncan (Sr., Kirkcaldy, Scotland) finished play at the NCAA Division II Championships and placed T-53rd overall through 54 holes played at Avalon Lakes Golf Course.
Duncan finished the tournament 9-over 223 and recorded ten birdies in three rounds.
After the first round, Duncan was T-31 and shot 1-over 73. He sank two birdies along with hitting five bogeys. On the par 5 11th, Duncan scored on three shots.
Duncan had his best outing during Tuesday's second round and posted a 3-under 69 score, vaulting him to T-12th place. In the round, Duncan hit six birdies and was even par nine times.
In the final round Wednesday, Duncan struggled to find his groove and hit only two birdies and earned seven bogeys and two double-bogeys, falling to T-53rd overall.
Andrew Riley from Palm Beach Atlantic won the individual medalist and scored 12-under 204 over three rounds.Â
Duncan finishes his playing career at CSU Pueblo and earned First Team All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
