PUEBLO, Colo. (April 6, 2023) - The Colorado State University Pueblo softball team will host Colorado School of Mines in a four-game Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference series beginning Friday at Noon at Rawlings Sports Complex.
During the weekend, the ThunderWolves will celebrate the 50 year Anniversary of Title IX and gender equality in NCAA athletics.
The Pack are back in action after facing Adams State last week, splitting the four-game series with the Grizzlies. The Pack's
Caitlyn Cole (Fr., Merced, Calif.) picked up six more hits including two more home runs hit to extend her team-lead to ten bombs on the year.
In the circle,
Lucy Carney (So., Lakewood, Colo.) and
Jacelynn Trujillo (Jr., Pueblo, Colo.) each have 18 appearances on the season and Carney leads the staff with a 7-7 record and 4.37 ERA while Trujillo has recorded 50 punch-outs in 75 innings of work.
SETTING THE STAGE
The Last time CSU Pueblo and Colorado Mesa met was during the 2020 Covid-19 shortened season. The Mavericks won all four games played at Rawlings Sports Complex.
