BOULDER CITY, Nev. (April 25, 2023) - The No. 19 ranked Colorado State University Pueblo men's golf team went on an absolute tear through the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Championship and won their third straight conference title after being down six strokes entering Tuesday's third round. The Pack finished tied with Colorado Christian after shooting a tournament-best 2-under and earned the title after beating the Cougars in a playoff at the Boulder Creek Golf Club.

With the win, CSU Pueblo automatically qualifies for the NCAA West/South Central Regional set to take place May 11-13 in Rohnert Park, Calif.

All five Pack golfers finished in the Top 20 and Jeffrey Nelson (So., Commerce City, Colo.) finished T4th place and carded a 67-74-71-212 and scored on 12 birdies to pace the ThunderWolves.

Finishing two-under, Liam Duncan (Sr., Kirkcaldy, Scotland) earned a T8th place finish and improved his scores over each round, posting scores of 73-71-70-214.

CSU Pueblo Freshman Archie Wyatt (Edinburgh, Scotland) had his best outing of his young career and finished in 11th place overall. Wyatt ended his weekend with seven birdies.

Landing in a T-12th place, Matt Millar (Jr., Devon, England) earned an even par and Top 15 finish after scoring 74-71-71-216 and ended one-under par in Tuesday's third round.

Millar sank eleven birdies.

Jamie Roberts (Jr., Kinross, Scotland) ended T-18th overall and had a tough third round, scoring 71-69-77-217 including a 5-over in the third round.

CSU Pueblo will turn its attention to the NCAA Tournament and return to the same course they competed at earlier this spring.
