PUEBLO, Colo. (February 23, 2023) – The Colorado State University Pueblo softball team concludes an 11-game home stand this week with a four-game Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference series against Colorado Christian beginning Saturday at 1 p.m. at Rawlings Sports Complex.
The Pack (6-5, 1-3 RMAC) are back on the diamond after dropping three-of-four games last week against Regis in the RMAC opening weekend.
Thus far on the year, Ashley Tosh (So., Fremont, Calif.) leads the team in average and is batting .478 and has eleven hits including three doubles on the year.
Freshman Madelyn Huerta (Azusa, Calif.) leads the team with 15 hits and 12 RBI.
In the circle, Lucy Carney (So., Lakewood, Colo.) leads the staff with a 1.94 ERA and she boasts a 3-1 record along with 12 strikeouts. Marissa Robertson (Rocklin, Calif.) also has a winning record at 2-1 and Jacelynn Trujillo (Jr., Pueblo, Colo.) has a team high 22 strikeouts on the year.
SETTING THE STAGE
Last season, CSU Pueblo lost four games on the road at Colorado Christian in Denver.

Colorado Christian Cougars (14-2, 4-0 RMAC)
Last time on the field: The Cougars swept their opening RMAC series at home against Chadron State. The Cougars are led offensively by Kenzie Middleton with a .410 average. In the circle, Regis is guided by Kali Crandall (6-1, 1.59 ERA).
