KEARNEY, Neb. (November 17, 2023) - The Colorado State University Pueblo wrestling team will begin its 2023-24 season campaign this week and will compete at the Younes Hospitality Open hosted by University of Nebraska-Kearney.

The ThunderWolves will wrestle 22 grapplers at the all day event at the Buffalo Co. Campgrounds.

Leading the charge this season are veterans Ben Gould (Sr., Canyon Country, Calif) and Elijah Valdez (Sr., Colorado Springs, Colo.). 

Cyruss Meeks (Jr., Casper, Wyo.) begins his third year with the Pack and sophomore Donn Greer (Soledad, Calif.) will look to start his second season on a high note for the Pack.

53 teams are set to compete at the open and nearly all other Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference teams will battle in two separate divisions

The action gets underway starting at 8 a.m. (MST).
