RAPID CITY, S.D. (October 29, 2023) - The No. 6 ranked Colorado State University Pueblo men's soccer team finished Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play and battled frigid temperatures and blistery winds on the pitch at South Dakota Mines and defeated the Hardrockers, 1-0 on Sunday at Dakota Fields.

Gabriel Campora (Sr., Saltillo, Mexico) scored his RMAC-leading 15th goal of the year during the 20th minute after stepping in to take a penalty kick awarded to the ThunderWolves.
In the match, CSU Pueblo recorded eight shots led by Campora's three shots.
Jack Pascoe (Sr., Barry, Wales, England) and
Giancarlo Pretto (Jr., Lajeado Rio Grande Do Sul, Brazil) both recorded two shots.
During the first half, CSU Pueblo played into the winds and fought through the temperatures to attack the net and earn a corner kick in the 6th minute.
The offense made their first shot on goal in the 17th minute and another SOG one minute later from Campora.
After his second shot, the ThunderWolves earned a corner and after the ball sailed inside the box, the Hardrockers were called for a defensive foul, resulting in the PK for the ThunderWolves.
The rest of the first half, CSU Pueblo continued to possess the ball on the offensive side of the pitch to keep the defense on their heels.
In the second period, SD Mines came out of the locker room aggressive and got the ball in ThunderWolves territory and challenged the defense with two shots in the period.
The Pack finished with five corners against none for SDMT.

Ryan Nun (Broomfield, Colo.) made his collegiate debut and made two saves on two shots from SDM and earned his first career clean sheet between the posts.
CSU Pueblo finishes the regular season with a 6-3-1 record and stand 12-4-2 overall. The ThunderWolves await final results from around the league today and will learn of their position in the upcoming RMAC Tournament.
