PUEBLO, Colo. (August 22, 2022) - The Colorado State University Pueblo Department of Athletics is hitting the links, as it is set to host the 21st Annual ThunderWolves Classic on September 9th, at the Pueblo Country Club.
Benefiting the CSU Pueblo Student-Athlete Scholarship Fund, The ThunderWolves Golf Classic is vital in helping the athletic department reach its scholarship goals and thus attracting more high-quality student-athletes to CSU Pueblo.
The CSU Pueblo Athletic Department has more than 640 student-athletes and through events like The ThunderWolves Golf Classic, the CSU Pueblo Athletic Department hopes to increase the number of scholarships available to our student-athletes through private donations. With these increases, Pack coaches will be able to recruit top-tier student-athletes that will be leaders in the classroom, in the community and in their sport.
CSU Pueblo is on the move, upgrading to state-of-the-art equipment and technology and climbing the Rocky Mountain Athletics Conference standings. But, there is a cost for taking such strides. With fewer state and federal government dollars each year, CSU Pueblo must look for additional sources of revenue to better serve the needs of our students and to fulfill our mission as a regional and national competitor in NCAA Division II.
The tournament will take place on September 9th, 2022 at the Pueblo Country Club. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. with a shotgun start beginning at 8:30 a.m.
The ThunderWolves Golf Classic includes green fees, cart & range balls, free breakfast and lunch, awards, player gift, free Miller products on the course, contest holes and champion awards.
A team of four is priced at $800 and a hole sponsor priced at $100. For any questions, please contact
