COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (May 9, 2022) – The Colorado State University Pueblo men's lacrosse team inked seven players to the All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference teams, which included one to the first-team and five to the second-team, as announced by league officials.
Ethan Ferrie (Sr., Littleton, Colo.) claimed the lone bid to first-team honors for the Pack and was also named the RMAC Co-Goalie of the Year after being a main component to the ThunderWolves defense that finished the season with the highest Man Down defense stop percentage of .906 and also led the NCAA in all divisions, and not another school above .900 in DII.
Ferrie finished the season averaging the second most saves per game in league play at 10.29. The senior finished the season with 179 saves and a .546 save percentage.
Named to the All-RMAC second team for the Pack was
Aryan Krause (So., Aurora, Colo.),
Cameron Hancock (Jr., Highlands Ranch, Colo.),
Logan Naves (So., Highlands Ranch, Colo.),
Ian Noonan (Jr., Wilmington, Del.), and
Boston Dumas (Sr., Ogden, Utah).
Krause came in second in the conference in total goals, but finished first in multiple categories which included goals per game (2.23), points per game (4.92), points (64), assists per game (2.69), and assists (35). The sophomore sits sixth in the NCAA for assists per game and seventh in points per game.
Hancock and Naves finished tied for second on the team with 24 goals each while Naves tabbed a .308 shooting percentage and Hancock .296. Naves finished with 10 assists and 14 ground balls and Hancock tallied 8 assists and 16 ground balls. Naves also completed a triple crown after being named to the All-Academic, Second-Team All-RMAC, and All-Tournament teams.
In the midfield, Noonan and Dumas held consistent throughout league play and was a dominating force in the ThunderWolves offense and defense. Dumas scored 7 goals and dished out 6 assists with 16 ground balls and 10 caused turnovers while Noonan finished the season with 5 goals and 7 assists with 9 ground balls and .435 shot on goal percentage.
Turner Dirk (So., Alberta, Canada) received All-RMAC honorable mention honors for the Pack.
