Pack Tennis Not Enough Against Colorado Mesa

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (April 9, 2022) – The Colorado State University Pueblo women's tennis program lost 7-0 in their final road match of the 2022 season to Colorado Mesa.
 
Kali Hamilton (Sr., Grapevine, Texas) was defeated 6-0 and 6-1 by Maike Waldburger while Katherine Ambrose (Jr., Bradford Woods, Pa.) lost 6-0 and 6-2 to Halle Romero.
 
Marissa Sena (So., Las Vegas, N.M.) lost 6-0 and 6-0 to Macy Richards while teammate Roma Cordova (So., Belen, Colo.) put up a fight in her match and won a total of four games, but ultimately lost 6-1 and 6-3 to Julianna Campos.
 
Sonrisa Bustamante (So., Pueblo, Colo.) lost 6-0, 6-0 to Paige Furin and Malaya Pendon (Fr., Pueblo, Colo.) lost 6-0, 6-2 to Lauren Thomas
 
In doubles, Hamilton and Tilly Blasdale (SO., Dover, United Kingdom) teamed up for the Pack against Makenna Livingston and Richards, but lost 6-1.
 
Ambrose and Sena lost 6-2 to Maike Waldburger and Halle Romero while Cordova and Bustamante lost 6-1 to Julianna Campos and Paige Furin.
 
The ThunderWolves will be back in action in their final home match of the 2022 campaign on Saturday, April 16th at 8:30 a.m. at the Pueblo Tennis Center.
