COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (March 5, 2022) – The Colorado State University Pueblo women's tennis team lost to Air Force Academy on Saturday afternoon, 7-0.
In the singles competitions,
Kali Hamilton (Sr., Grapevine, Texas) was able to steal a game from Air Force Alexis Odom, but fell 6-1, 6-0. Teammate
Tilly Blasdale (So., Dover United Kingdom) also stole a game in the first set, but lost to Ait Force Karine Chao 6-1, 6-0.
Marissa Sena (So., Las Vegas, N.M.) lost 6-0, 6-0 to Air Force Andrea Le and teammate
Katherine Ambrose lost to Alex Kuo 6-1, 6-1.
Roma Cordova (So., Belen, N.M.) was able to take two games from Isabella Flodin from Air Force, but lost 6-0, 6-2 while teammate
Malaya Pendon (Fr., Pueblo, Colo.) rounded out the singles for the Pack with a 6-2, 6-0 loss to Maddie Dibble.
Hamilton and Blasdale paired up in the double competition and lost 6-1 to Vivian Glozman and Chao while Sena and Ambrose lost 6-1 to Flodin and Sydney Fitch. Cordova and
Alyssa Wells (So., Converse, Texas) teamed up for the last double match and lost 6-1 to Hailey Stelse and Kuo.
The Pack will be back in action in Phoenix, Ariz. on March 21st and 23rd to face Ottawa University and Mesa Community College.
