PUEBLO, Colo. (March 11, 2022) - The Colorado State University Pueblo softball team continues the home schedule this week and will play host to MSU Denver in a four-game RMAC series starting Saturday at noon at Rawlings Sports Complex
GAME PROMOTION
During the first game against MSU Denver, Coach B will provide student-athletes in attendance free pizza while they watch the ThunderWolves take on the Roadrunners. Students will need to show their ID to get their pizza.
LAST TIME ON THE DIAMOND
The Pack remain at home for the third consecutive series after their games against Chadron State was moved to Pueblo last week. In that series, the ThunderWolves and Eagles both won two games with the ThunderWolves sweeping the doubleheader Saturday.
Katelynn Ralston (So., Colorado Springs, Colo.) went 7-for-7 at the plate including three doubles between the two games Saturday. She added two RBI and four runs to her impressive weekend offensively. In the circle, Ralston picked up the win in game one after throwing a complete game and gave up five runs, four earned and she scattered 11 hits by the Eagles.
Delaney Barela (So., Pueblo, Colo.) added three hits of her own to help carry the Pack to victory.
SETTING THE STAGE
Due to COVID-19, CSU Pueblo and MSU Denver have not played each other since 2019. During that season, the Pack went 1-3 in the series in Denver.

           Last time on the field: MSU Denver split a doubleheader versus Colorado Christian. MSU Denver is led offensively by Audrey Burt with a .391 average. In the circle the Roadrunners are guided by Sarah Norton (4-3, 3.68 ERA).

ON DECK FOR THE THUNDERWOLVES
CSU Pueblo will finish the homestand with a rare midweek doubleheader against Northern State. The nonconference twin bill is scheduled for Tuesday starting at 5 p.m. at Rawlings Sports Complex. The theme for the night is NEON NIGHT. Fans are encouraged to come wearing their favorite neon colors and clothing.
