PUEBLO, Colo. (February 25, 2022) - The Colorado State University Pueblo softball team will open play at the friendly confines of Rawlings Sports Complex this week against Colorado School of Mines in a four game series starting Saturday at noon.
The Pack is back on the diamond after opening the season with three wins at Western New Mexico. In the series, CSU Pueblo totaled 34 runs on 40 hits including ten doubles against the Mustangs.
Hannah Hackney (Sr., Erie, Colo.) led the team offensively, going 7-for-10 at the dish and earned eight RBI and 10 total bases.
Katelynn Ralston (So., Colorado Springs, Colo.) had a strong first weekend as she gathered seven hits including four doubles. She scored six runs, seven RBI and recorded 11 total bases. In the pitcher's circle, Ralston earned one win and struck out 9 batters in six innings of work.

Last season, CSU Pueblo went 1-3 against Colorado Mines.

           Last time on the field: Mines lost 9-1 (5 inn.) versus No. 4 West Texas. CSM is led offensively by Sidney Wilson with a .400 average. In the circle the Orediggers are guided by Sadriena Rodriguez (0-2, 3.07 ERA).
