PUEBLO, Colo. (Oct. 23, 2022) - The Colorado State University Pueblo women's soccer team celebrated the careers of four seniors prior to facing off against No. 10 Colorado School of Mines, Sunday at Art & Lorraine Gonzales Stadium.

Faith Meredith, Victoria Mitrick, Porsche Nieto and Jordin Schaller each were honored and presented a gift from the team.

The ThunderWolves began the match and played toe-to-toe against Mines and fended off a strong start from the Mines offense.

The visitors got on the board in the 11th minute and the ThunderWolves were able to hold the score over the next twenty minutes and got one of their three shots in that span.

Mines scored again with about thirteen minutes left in the half.

Meredith, Ashley Bennett and Jerzie Troost each recorded a shot for the ThunderWolves.

The Orediggers would add two more goals in the second half and come away with a 4-0 win.

CSU Pueblo (5-10-2, 4-5-2 RMAC) will close out the regular season with one final home game on Wednesday against UCCS starting at 7 p.m. at Gonzales Stadium.
