Pack men's basketball tabbed eighth in RMAC Preseason Poll

PUEBLO, Colo. (October 20, 2022) - The Colorado State University Pueblo men's basketball team was picked to finish in eighth place according to the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Coaches Poll, released by league officials.

CSU Pueblo garnered 100 points in the poll. Black Hills State was picked to win the conference and earned 196 points and 14 first-place votes. BHSU sits ahead of Colorado Mesa with 178 points, followed by Colorado School of Mines who earned 169 points and one first-place vote.

Rounding out the top five is Fort Lewis (152 points) and UCCS (138 points).

In the sixth slot is Regis closely followed by MSU Denver in seventh place.

New Mexico Highlands, Westminster, South Dakota Mines and Adams State each were picked 9th thru 12th place.

Rounding out the field are Colorado Christian, Chadron State and Western Colorado.

The men's basketball team will kickoff their season at home Nov. 11-12 versus MSU Texas and Cameron, respectively.
