SPEARFISH, S.D. (Oct. 1, 2022) - The Colorado State University Pueblo women's soccer team snapped a three-game losing streak Friday, defeating Black Hills State 1-0 behind a second half goal scored by
Faith Meredith.
Meredith connected on her fourth goal of the season during the 55th minute for the ThunderWolves.
CSU Pueblo totaled nine shots in the match and earned four corners.
Nine different Pack players recorded a shot and four landed on goal.
By halftime, CSU Pueblo had several good looks at the net and fired six shots at the BHSU goalkeeper.
At goalkeeper,
Nicole Genis made two saves and faced five shots to earn teh clean sheet.
CSU Pueblo (3-8, 2-3 RMAC) will finish its road trip on Sunday with a match at MSU Denver. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. at The Assembly Athletic Complex.
