Zingel earns RMAC First Team All-Academic accolades, leads thirteen named to Honor Roll

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (May 11, 2021) - Sophomore Vizent Zingel (Aachen, Germany) of the Colorado State University Pueblo men's soccer team was named to Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference First Team All-Academic and leads thirteen Pack players being named to the Honor Roll, announced Tuesday by league officials.

Zingel holds a 3.62 Grade Point Average and major is EXPER (General).

Regis University's Kristian Hooker was named RMAC Academic Player of the Year and holds a 4.00 GPA and is a Biochemistry major.

Zingel earned his first academic award and finished tied for team lead in goals (5) this spring. Zingel helped to lead the ThunderWolves to second place in the Mountain Division during the spring season. He added five assists and totaled 15 points on the year.

He was named RMAC Player of the Year and earned RMAC Offensive Player of the Week once.

To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must carry a 3.30 cumulative grade point average and must have been an active student at the institution for at least two consecutive semesters or three consecutive quarters (RMAC Manual 3.4.2).
