GOODYEAR, Ariz. (April 6, 2021) - The No. 16 Colorado State University Pueblo men's golf team played its best round of golf to secure its second consecutive tournament title after carding a -9 (279) on Tuesday during the third and final round at the Mustang Intercollegiate at the Palm Valley Golf Club in Goodyear, Ariz.
The ThunderWolves finished 12 strokes ahead of second place UT Permian Basin and 17 strokes in front of fellow RMAC-foe Fort Lewis.
Individually, Grand Canyon's Matthew Braley ended -14 (202).

Andrew Ni (
Edinburgh, Scotland, UK) finished in fourth place overall at -6 under par (210) after scoring 4-under par (68) on Tuesday. Ni ended his strong weekend with scores of 69-73-68-210. Ni recorded four birdies and one eagle during round three. His eagle shot came on hole 11 par 5.
Close behind him was teammate Jamie Roberts (R-Fr., Kinross, Scotland, UK) who ended the event -5 under and T-5th place. Roberts three round total of 211 includes a -1 under par (71) shooting in the third round. Roberts third round scorecard featured four birdies and an eagle shot on par 5 hole 11.
Sitting tied-16th, Matt Millar (Fr., Devon, England, UK) posted an even-par scorecard and shot 71-72-73-216 in the tournament.
Nathan McCann (Jr., Lurgan, Armagh, Ireland) ended T-28th at +4 (220).Â
Sam Barthram (Jr., Weybridge, Surrey, UK) and Clay Kucera (Jr., Chaska, Minn.) both finished T-65th and shot +13 (229).
The ThunderWolves return home and will host the Southern Colorado Masters on Apr. 12-13 at the Pueblo Country Club.
