PUEBLO, Colo. (April 17, 2021) - The Colorado State University Pueblo women's tennis team concluded the 2020-21 season Saturday in a 7-0 road loss at Colorado Mesa University.
Sophomore
Katherine Ambrose (Bradford Woods, Pa.) played at the No. 1 singles spot and fell by the score of 6-1, 6-1.
At the No. 5 position, newcomer
Sonrisa Bustamante (Fr., Pueblo, Colo.) also scored two points in a 6-1, 6-1 setback.
The ThunderWolves (0-7) lost both doubles matches to the Mavericks by a 6-1 result.
"It was a little bittersweet to have our season come to an end," said Head Coach
Beau Fresquez. "But, I'm happy to see improvement in each player throughout this challenging season."
