COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (April 14, 2021) – The Colorado State University Pueblo track and field programs combined for six indoor all-conference awards from the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.Â

All-RMAC First Team consists of the top three individual finishers from each event at the RMAC Indoor Track and Field Championships and the first-place relay teams. All-RMAC Second Team consists of the fourth, fifth and sixth place individual finishers, along with the second-place relay teams.

On the men's side, sophomoresÂ
Nigel Mitchell (Red Bank, N.J.) andÂ
Carl Schmidt (Wiesbaden, Germany) were named All-RMAC First Team after being crowned RMAC Champions in their respective events.Â

Mitchell won the 200m dash by just 0.03 seconds, as he crossed the finish line in 21.93. Schmidt raced to a time of 8.13 in the 60m hurdles, which won by 0.02 seconds and hit an NCAA Division II provisional time.

SophomoreÂ
Cole Munoz (Colorado Springs, Colo.) was also an All-RMAC First Team recipient, as he raced to third in the 5000m run when he crossed the finish line in a personal best time of 14:51.94.
For the women,Â
Heather Graham (Jr., Hugo, Colo.) was recognized as All-RMAC First Team when she posted a runner-up finish in the shot put. Her top throw registered 13.10m (42' 11.75").

RJ Ramirez (Jr., Henderson, Colo.) gathered an Al-RMAC Second Team award, as he was fourth in the 60m dash with a season-best time of 6.90.Â
Competing in her first collegiate championship meet, freshmanÂ
Katherine Higgins (Castle Rock, Colo.) finished fourth with a toss of 12.70m (41' 8").Â
