PUEBLO, Colo. (April 13, 2021) – The No. 18 Colorado State University Pueblo men's golf team secured its third straight tournament victory Tuesday, as the ThunderWolves claimed the Southern Colorado Masters title at the Pueblo Country Club.

The Pack finished the tournament three under (282-281-286--849) to win by four strokes.Â
In addition to winning three straight tournaments, CSU Pueblo closes the regular season with four wins in 2020-21. Next on the list is the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Championships April 18-20 at the Wigwam Golf Resort in Litchfield Park, Arizona.Â

Junior Andrew Ni (Edinburgh, Scotland, UK) was runner up at three under (70-71-69--210), as he had the low round on the day for the ThunderWolves with a two-under 69. He tied for the tournament lead in birdies with 15. He also tied for the best effort on Par 3's, as he was even. Ni attacked the Par 5's and went six under in the three rounds.
Clay Kucera (Jr., Chaska, Minn.) carded an even-par 71 Tuesday and recorded a top 5 finish, as the junior was fourth at one under. He was consistent during the three rounds with scores of 71-70-71--212. He was second among the field in Par 3 scoring (+1) and Par 4 scoring (E). Kucera had 12 birdies in the tournament.Â

Nathan McCann (Jr., Lurgan, Armagh, Ireland) moved up four spots from Monday with a one-over 72. He closed the tournament tied for 15th at four over. He shot 71-74-72--217 in the two days. He played the Par 5's five under and totaled 11 birdies at the Pueblo Country Club.Â

Jamie Roberts (R-Fr., Kinross, Scotland, UK) shot a three-over 74 Tuesday and just missed the top 10, as he placed tied for 11th (70-72-74--216). Roberts tied for the second most pars in the field with 35. He played the Par 5's five under.Â

Rounding out the team wasÂ
Matt Millar (Fr., Devon, England, UK), as he tied for 19th at six over (74-68-77--219). He tied for third in the field with 34 pars.Â

As an individual,
 Sanjay Nithiyalingam (So., Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, England, UK) jumped up nine spots from Monday with his one-under 70. He tied for 32nd at nine over (79-73-70--222). He also had 34 pars in the tournament.
Finally,Â
Sam Barthram (Jr., Weybridge, Surrey, UK) was 52nd at 31-over (83-74-87--244).
