PUEBLO, Colo. (March 7, 2021) - The Colorado State University Pueblo women's tennis team lost 6-1 to Colorado College Sunday at Pueblo City Park.
Senior
Kali Hamilton (Grapevine, Texas) picked up two wins for the ThunderWolves (0-3). The senior won in straight sets at the No. 1 singles spot by the scores of 6-1, 6-4.
Hamilton paired with
Tilly Blasdale (R-Fr., Dover, United Kingdom) at the No. 1 doubles position and won 8-1.
At No. 5 singles,
Roma Cordova (R-Fr., Belen, N.M.) totaled three points in a 6-2, 6-1 loss.
"We had a solid win at our top positions," said Interim Head Coach
Beau Fresquez. "Our hard work in the past week shows in today's result. We were in some well-fought matches and will look to improve this season."
Next up, the Pack host Dallas Baptist University Thursday, March 11 at 11 a.m. at Pueblo City Park.
