DUPONT, Wash. (March 22, 2021) - The No. 15 Colorado State University Pueblo men's golf team sits in first place and leads the field by 11 strokes through the first two rounds, while golfers
Andrew Ni (
Jr.,Edinburgh, Scotland, UK) and
Jamie Roberts (
R-Fr.,Kinross, Scotland, UK) are both tied atop the leaderboard after shooting two-under par (142) in rounds one and two at the Saint Martin's Invitational.
The ThunderWolves are three-under for the tournament, while the host, Saint Martin's University, is in second place at eight-over.
Both Ni and Roberts shot 71 in each of the first two rounds.Â
The ThunderWolves have four in the top seven with
Clay Kucera (Jr.,
Chaska, Minn.) and
Matt Millar (Fr.,
Devon, England, UK) finishing +1 (145). They are tied with several others in seventh place. Kucera shot a 68 in round one to lead the field and then finished with a 77. Millar shot 70-75--145.Â
On the day, Ni and Roberts both recorded eight birdies, second only to Kucera's nine birdies. All three were top marks of the day.
Sam Barthram (Jr.,
Weybridge, Surrey, UK) sits 47th, after he carded a +11 (79-76--155) in both rounds of play.
Sanjay Nithiyalingham (So.,
Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, England, UK) ended his day tied for 40th place with a +9 (74-79--153) performance.

CSU Pueblo will open the third and final round of the Saint Martin's Invitational Tuesday at 9 a.m. (MT) at The Home Course.
