CSU Pueblo Athletics to allow spectators at home events starting March 1

PUEBLO, Colo. (March 1, 2021) - Starting March 1, spectators will be permitted at Colorado State University Pueblo home athletic events. 
 
All spectators will be screened and must wear masks 100% of the time while on University property (required by State). Capacity limits and social distancing will be monitored closely and followed at home sporting events. Concessions will be closed, but fans will be permitted to bring their own beverages (no alcoholic beverages). Food is not permitted, including sunflower seeds, peanuts or other snack items. Rest rooms will remain open for use.
 
Spectators will be permitted in the following sporting venues:
  • Art and Lorraine Gonzales Soccer/Lacrosse Stadium (Men's and Women's Soccer/Men's and Women's Lacrosse)
  • Massari Arena (Volleyball)
  • Pueblo City Park Tennis Courts (Women's Tennis)
  • Rawlings Sports Complex (Baseball/Softball)
  • Neta and Eddie DeRose ThunderBowl (Football/Men's and Women's Track and Field)
  • Pueblo Country Club and Walking Stick Golf Course (Men's and Women's Golf)
On-Site Screening: The CSU Pueblo Safety Team will conduct on-campus temperature and wellness screening starting 45 minutes prior to the beginning of an event for all non-CSU Pueblo spectators. Gates will not open to spectators until this time. CSU Pueblo students/staff will show their "Smart Back to Work" daily screening portal.
 
Ticket Information: CSU Pueblo student-athletes will receive four (4) complimentary tickets for guests (parents, family members, friends, etc.) via a pass list. CSU Pueblo students will need to show their University-issued ID for complimentary admission. General fans and CSU Pueblo Faculty/Staff will need to pay the cost of attendance. 
 
Ticket prices for all sporting events this spring, in which admission will be charged, will be $10 for Adults and $5 for CSU Pueblo Faculty/Staff, fans ages 7-18, seniors 65 and older and visiting college students. Cash only. All children six years old and younger will be admitted free of charge. There will be NO season passes sold in 2020-2021 and NO advanced ticket sales.Tickets will be sold at the gate only. 
 
COVID-19 Restriction Guide: The Athletic Department will analyze the Colorado 7-day COVID-19 Dial in Pueblo County in order to determine capacity limits for each sporting event. 
 
As of March 1, Pueblo County is operating in Level Blue and CSU Pueblo Athletics will assume these operation levels. Communications about new spectator limits will only be made if there are changes to the COVID-19 Dial in Pueblo County.

Level Blue (Caution)
Indoor - 175 person cap – student-athlete guests, CSU Pueblo students/staff and general fans
-Spectators will be kept away from teams while in Arena
Outdoor - 250 person cap – student-athletes guests, CSU Pueblo students/staff and fans

Level Purple (Extreme Risk) - No Spectators (indoors or outdoor)
 
Level Red (Severe Risk) - No Spectators (indoor or outdoor)
 
Level Orange (High Risk)
Indoor - No Spectators
Outdoor - 75 person cap – student-athlete guests only (no general fans)
 
Level Yellow (Concern)
Indoor - No Spectators
Outdoor - 175 person cap – student-athlete guests and CSU Pueblo students/staff only (no general fans)
 
Level Blue (Caution)
Indoor - 175 person cap – student-athlete guests, CSU Pueblo students/staff and general fans
-Spectators will be kept away from teams while in Arena
Outdoor - 250 person cap – student-athletes guests, CSU Pueblo students/staff and fans
 
Level Green (Protect Your Neighbors)
Indoor - 250 person cap – student-athlete guests, CSU Pueblo students/staff and general fans
-Spectators will be kept on the east side bleachers only (away from teams)
