DENVER, Colo. (November 7, 2021) - The Colorado State University Pueblo women's soccer team's season came to an end after dropping a 4-1 game at Regis University in the first round of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Tournament.
In the match, CSU Pueblo registered ten shots including three shots going on frame. Regis scored three goals in the first 15 minutes of play and took the lead into the locker room at halftime.
The Pack totaled four first half shots and was led in the game by
Madison Jepperson (Sr., Cottonwood Heights, Utah) and her three shots.
Litzy Serna (Sr., West Jordan, Utah) and
Porsche Nieto (Jr., Thornton, Colo.) each recorded multiple shots.
Pack goalkeeper
Nicole Genis (So., San Jose, Costa Rica) made eight saves in over 71 minutes at the net.
Breanna Encinas (Fr., Firestone, Colo.) saw over 18 minutes of play time and faced three shots and zero shots on goal.
CSU Pueblo finish the season with a 9-8-1 record.
