FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (Oct. 1, 2021) - The Colorado State University Pueblo men's cross country team competed Friday at the Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival, hosted by University of Arkansas.
As a team, the Pack finished in 21st place and earned 553 total points.
Leading the was was freshman
Reece Sharman-Newell who placed in the 99th position and posted a time of 25:47.0.
Patrick Scoggins (Jr., Rangely, Colo.) placed 116th overall and clocked a time of 25:58.9.
Also competing for the ThunderWolves,
Richard Roberds (So., Colorado Springs, Colo.) earned a time of 26:05.2 and
Lucas Westbrook (So., Loveland, Colo.) finished with a time of 26:12.7.
Cole Munoz (Jr., Colorado Springs, Colo.) and
Kaleb Beloy (So., Anchorage, Alaska) both finished just over two seconds apart at 26:47.0 and 26:49.3, respectively.
Freshman
Lucas Futey (Rio, Rancho, NM) clocked a time of 27:04.8 for the ThunderWolves.
Matthew Roberds (So., Colorado Springs, Colo.) finished at 27:12.5 and
Jack Dickson ended at 27:28.0.
CSU Pueblo next will compete at the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Championships on Oct. 23 in Colorado Springs.
