VERSUS THE OPPONENTS

• The ThunderWolves and the Griffins have met every season since 2014-15 and have split the series during that span, 4-4. The Pack secured an 84-75 victory at home last season. David Simental led all scorers with 23 points and added four rebounds and four assists.

• The ThunderWolves and Mavericks are 5-5 against each other in the last 10 meetings. In the lone meeting last season, the Pack fell 86-74 in Grand Junction. CSU Pueblo is 2-1 in the last three meetings at home.

LAST TIME OUT

• CSU Pueblo went 0-2 on the road last weekend to start the 2020-21 season and the RMAC schedule. The Pack never led in either game, as the team fell to Adams State (83-76) and UCCS (83-67). The ThunderWolves also dropped an exhibition game at Colorado State by the score of 89-77.

• The two league games had similar stories with CSU Pueblo struggling in the opening 20 minutes and trailing by double digits at halftime. The Pack battled and outscored their opponent in the second half, but not enough to erase the deficits.

• After redshirting last season with the ThunderWolves, Tre Brown made his debut and averaged 20.5 points per game. He shot 51.9 percent from the field.

THE PACK

• Head Coach Matt Hammer is in his second season as head coach.

• CSU Pueblo returned four players from last year's roster, while only three saw the floor. The rest of the 15-player roster is made up of four transfers and seven freshmen.

• Brown leads the team with 20.5 points per game in 32.5 minutes per contest.

• In the opening two games, David Simental scored 13.5 points per game and shot 55.6 percent from the field.

• Freshman Lian Ramiro added 10 points per game, shot 50 percent from the field and hit three 3-pointers to lead the team. The point guard led the team in rebounding with 10 total, while his six assists tied for the team lead with Brown.

THE GRIFFINS

• The Griffins are 2-2 this season and are coming off a pair of road losses at Chadron State, 66-60, and Black Hills State, 75-70.

• Westminster is led by Joey Andrews' 13.5 points and 10.0 rebounds per game. Isaiah Banks adds 12.8 points per game and is the team leader with 12 total assists.

• Westminster was picked to finish 10th in the RMAC Preseason Coaches' Poll.

THE MAVERICKS

• The Mavericks are 4-0 to start the season and are ranked No. 17 in the NABC Coaches Poll. CMU went on the road last weekend and earned wins against Black Hills State, 75-70, and got past Chadron State in two overtimes by the score of 77-68.

• Ethan Menzies leads five players in double figures scoring with 17.5 points per game. He adds a team-best 8.0 rebounds per game. Reece Johnson adds 12.5 points per game and is 7-for-11 (63.6%) from long range.
