PUEBLO, Colo. (Jan. 17, 2020) – The Colorado State University-Pueblo wrestling team begins the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference dual season Saturday at No. T-19 Chadron State College. The match is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.

The ThunderWolves (1-3, 0-0 RMAC) travel to the Eagles (4-7, 1-3 RMAC) after going 1-3 at the 30th Annual Tracy Borah Duals Saturday in Gunnison, Colo. A total of six wrestlers had two victories on the day.Â

In the third dual of the day, the ThunderWolves secured a 25-15 victory against Findlay. Seven wrestlers were victorious in the team win. Nye secured the victory with a pin at heavyweight.Â

Chadron State was tied for 19th in the latest coaches poll and have three wrestlers ranked nationally. At 133, Brandon Kile ranks No. 9, Chase Clasen is No. 7 at 157, and Wade French is the No. 6 wrestler at 197. Both Clasen (149 last year) and French were region champions a year ago.Â

Last season in Pueblo, the ThunderWolves won 31-3 against the Eagles. Brumfield and Diggs bot got wins last year and are in the lineup for Saturday. Brumfield won against Kile in the first tiebreaker. Diggs won by a 4-2 decision.Â
