GUNNISON, Colo. (Jan. 10, 2020) – Theodore Csenar (So., San Diego, Calif.) of the Colorado State University-Pueblo wrestling team finished third at the Western Colorado Open Friday in Gunnison, Colorado. 
 
A total of five members representing the ThunderWolves finished in the top six in their weight classes in the final open tournament of the season before going full into the dual season tomorrow at the 30th Annual Tracy Borah Duals in Gunnison. The Pack have four duals, starting with a 9 a.m. bout with University of Indianapolis. 
 
Csenar went 2-2 to place third at 174. He won his first two bouts, which included a fall against teammate 
Joey Caputo (Jr., Corning, Calif.). He won his second match by a 3-0 decision against a member of Colorado Mesa University. Caputo was fourth at 174 and had one win by forfeit. 
 
Maxwell Martell (R-So., Meridian, Idaho) grabbed a couple wins at 184 and finished 2-3 to place fifth. He won his opening bout by an 11-5 decision and then grabbed a 14-8 decision win in round three. 
 
Tristan Hendrickson (Fr., Riverton, Utah) placed sixth at 133 and recorded a 6-5 decision in the first round of the consolation side of the bracket. 
Aaron Benton (R-Jr., Yuba City, Calif.) was sixth at 165 and grabbed one victory by forfeit.
