GOLDEN, Colo. (September 29, 2019) - The Colorado State University-Pueblo men's soccer team dropped a tough match on the road, falling 1-0 at Colorado School of Mines, Sunday at Stermole Stadium.
In the 43', Colorado Mines drove the ball inside the six-yard box and a muffed shot attempt hit off a Pack defender and bounced into the net for the lone goal in the match.
Carlos Espinoza (Jr., Simi Valley, Calif.) led the Pack with three shots and two on goal.
In the game, Mines outshot the Pack 14-12 and created six corner kick chances against one for the Pack.
By halftime, CSU-Pueblo managed four shots.
Three Pack players finished with multiple shots and seven total landing on frame.

Tyler Harvey (Sr., Henderson, Nev.) pitched his first shutout of the season, making seven saves in full minutes at the net.
CSU-Pueblo (2-6-0, 2-2-0 RMAC) returns home and starts a four-game homestand beginning Friday against UCCS. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Art & Lorraine Gonzales Stadium.
