CSU-Pueblo drops match at No. 9 Colorado Mines

Box Score GOLDEN, Colo. (September 27, 2019) - The Colorado State University-Pueblo women's soccer team dropped a 5-1 match at the hands of No. 9 Colorado School of Mines Friday at Stermole Stadium in Golden, Colo.

Madison Jepperson (Jr., Cottonwood Heights, UT) netted the lone Pack goal in the 55' to help the ThunderWolves avoid the shutout.

The Orediggers jumped ahead from the onset, scoring two goals in the first three minutes of play.

CSM's defense held the Pack to six shots in the match and allowed one shot in the first half.

For the match, Jepperson led the Pack with her three shots and two landing on frame.

CSU-Pueblo (2-5-0, 1-2-0 RMAC) will stay on the road and end the weekend Sunday at Colorado Christian. Kickoff is slated for 12 p.m. in Lakewood, Colo.
