Pack Football a unanimous favorite in RMAC Preseason Coaches' Poll

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (July 26, 2019) - Fresh off the program's seventh Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Championship in the last eight years, the Colorado State University-Pueblo football team was named a unanimous favorite to repeat as champs this season, as the league office released its 2019 RMAC Preseason Coaches' Poll, Wednesday at the RMAC Kickoff in Denver. 

The ThunderWolves totaled all 10 available first-place votes to accumulate 100 points in the poll. The Pack shared the 2018 title with Colorado School of Mines, who earned the other first-place nod and totaled 88 points for second. Chadron State College gathered 73 points with Colorado Mesa University right behind them with 72 points. Dixie State University rounded out the top five with 68 points. 

CSU-Pueblo and the rest of the league came together Wednesday for the RMAC Kickoff at the Denver Broncos UCHealth Training Center.    The ThunderWolves open the season Sept. 7 at 7 p.m. at Dixie State. The home opener is slated for Sept. 22 against Colorado School of Mines. Game time for the RED OUT at the Neta and Eddie DeRose ThunderBowl is 6 p.m.
