Pack MLAX travels to Adams State for final road game

PUEBLO, Colo. (April 19, 2019) – Colorado State University-Pueblo Men's Lacrosse will travel to Adams State University for its final road game of the 2019 regular season Saturday at 12 p.m. at the ASU Lacrosse Field.

Pack Notes:
The Pack stands 1-2 in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play after back-to-back losses to Colorado Mesa University and Westminster College. They stand 6-5 overall.

Taylor Davis (Sr., Littleton, Colo.) is the RMAC's leading scorer. He averages 3.36 goals per game. Davis ranks 11th in D-II in goals per game. He is the 5th most accurate shooter in D-II, putting away 54.4 percent of his shots.

Davis has set a school record with 160 career points. He is also the school's all-time leader with 111 career goals.

Anthony Ferrie (Sr., Littleton, Colo.) leads the RMAC with 4.73 points per game. Ferrie had eight points Sunday against the Griffins. He ranks 20th in D-II in points per game. Ferrie's 2.09 assists per game rank second in the RMAC and 18th in D-II. His 2.64 goals per game rank fourth in the RMAC.

Thanks to his eight-point performance, Ferrie became the third member of the Pack's 100-pooint club. Incredibly, Ferrie achieved 100 career points, despite playing defense for his first two seasons.

Jacob Muir (Fr., Ogden, Utah) leads the RMAC with 7.91 ground balls per game. This places Muir 12th in D-II in ground balls per game. His 87 ground balls this season has already set a single-season school record. Muir's 152 faceoff wins this season has also set a school record.  

Caleb Cole (Fr., Houston, Texas) averages 1.50 assists per game. Cole ranks third in the RMAC in helpers. His 2.90 ground balls per game rank fifth in the RMAC.

Tommy Vassallo (Jr., Sarasota, Fla.) ranks fifth in the RMAC with 2.09 goals per game and 1.18 assists per game. His 3.27 points per game places him sixth in the conference.

Weston Bartgis (Sr., El Cajon, Calif.) averages 2.36 points per game, 10th best in the RMAC. Bartgis' 1.0 assists per game ranks eighth in the RMAC.

Parker Evans (So., Bentonville, Ark.) ranks third in the RMAC with 1.36 caused turnovers. His 2.64 ground balls per game stand eighth in the conference.

Colton Rasmussen (So., Great Falls, Mont.) ranks second in the RMAC with a 54.5 save percentage. Ethan Ferrie (Fr., Littleton, Colo.) holds fourth with a 50.5 percent save percentage and Garrett Breeling (Fr., Highlands Ranch, Colo.) stands fifth with a 49.5 save percentage.

Scouting Adams State:
- The Grizzlies own a 3-6 overall record. They are 0-3 in the RMAC. CSU-Pueblo beat the Grizzlies 12-11 in their season opener. The Pack has won the last four meetings between the two teams.

- Connor Johnson leads the RMAC with a 56.5 percent save percentage. Johnson averages a RMAC-best 11.88 saves per game.

- The Grizzlies have the worst offense in the RMAC averaging 9.89 goals per game. Kale Wilson their top offensive threat averaging 1.75 goals per game.
