PUEBLO, Colo. (April 14, 2019) - The Colorado State University-Pueblo women's tennis team suffered a 7-0 loss at the hands of No. 32 Tarleton State University Friday at Pueblo City Park.

The Pack (1-17) got a solid effort at No. 2 doubles with Sarah Megilligan (Jr., Pueblo West, Colo.) and Emily Sporston (So., Warrington, UK), as the pair battled to a 5-7 loss.

In singles play against the TexAnns (10-5), senior Nia Matthews (Houston, Texas) was the closest to grabbing a set at the No. 1 position. She lost 5-7 in the first before enduring a 1-6 loss in the second set.

The ThunderWolves had their home finale rescheduled from Saturday and moved to April 23 at 2 p.m. at Pueblo City Park against Metro State University of Denver. Before wrapping the regular season with the Roadrunners, the Pack will travel to Colorado Mesa University April 19 for a 10 a.m. meeting with the Mavericks in Grand Junction, Colo.
