PUEBLO, Colo. (March 7, 2019) - The Colorado State University-Pueblo men's tennis team travels to Wichita Falls, Texas March 8-9 to compete in the MSU Texas Invite, hosted by Midwestern State University Texas.
The ThunderWolves are traveling in good form after sweeping their home-opening match against Concordia (Neb.) 7-0 Wednesday. The Pack won all their opening doubles matches and dominated singles play.Â
The weekend's matches begin Friday with Cameron University at 8 a.m. MT and continue at 2 p.m. MT against Southern Arkansas University. CSU-Pueblo will be the host Mustangs Saturday at 1 p.m. MT.

The Aggies are No. 24 in the latest ITA rankings and are currently 5-3 this season. The team's latest win was against Texan foes, St. Mary's University whom they beat 4-1. The Aggies are on two match win streak heading into Friday's match against the ThunderWolves. Last season, the Pack played the Aggies and lost 7-2.
Preview Versus Southern Arkansas
The Muleriders, who are receiving votes in the latest national poll, are having a superb season so far, sitting at a 9-2 record in spring season play. There only two losses came against Texas-Permian Basin and Tyler Junior College. The Muleriders best win this season came against No. 25 Washburn University, 4-3. The Muleriders are heading into the MSU Invite on a five-match win streak.Â
Preview Versus MSU Texas
The No. 17 Mustangs haven't had many matches this spring but are currently 3-0 in those contests. The Mustangs lost 7-0 to SMU in an exhibition match in February. The hosts' three wins were against Laredo CC, 4-3, St. Mary's, 6-1 and Southeastern Oklahoma State, 5-2. The Mustangs are heading into the MSU Invite on a three-match win streak.Â
