PUEBLO, Colo. (March 22, 2019) - The Colorado State University-Pueblo softball team stays on the road again this week and will play at MSU Denver in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference action starting Saturday at noon at Regency Athletic Complex.
The ThunderWolves are back on the diamond after taking 3-of-4 at New Mexico Highlands last week.Â
Marissa Piatt (So., San Luis Obispo, Calif.) had herself a breakout weekend, going 9-for-14 (.643) at the plate and she hit four extra-base hits including two homeruns.Â
For her efforts Piatt was named RMAC Player of the Week.
In the series, six Pack players recorded five hits.
Gabby Moreno (Jr., Scottsdale, Ariz.) continues to be a difficult out and leads the team in doubles with four.
OPPONENT CAPSULES
MSU Denver has a record of 11-17 overall and are 7-7 in RMAC play. The Roadrunners' Darby McGhee leads her team with a .419 average. In the circle, MSUD is guided by McGhee (4-8, 3.12 ERA) and Julia Heitz (4-4, 4.47 ERA).
