PUEBLO, Colo. (Feb. 14, 2019) - The Colorado State University-Pueblo men's basketball team concludes the road portion of its schedule with a pair of Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference contests at University of Colorado Colorado Springs and No. 11 Colorado School of Mines, Feb. 15-16. Friday's game at UCCS is set for 7:30 p.m., while the contest at Mines is set to tip at 7 p.m.
LAST TIME OUT
• CSU-Pueblo is 6-17 with a 4-13 RMAC record. The ThunderWolves are coming off an 0-2 home weekend where they lost to Black Hills State (89-64) and South Dakota Mines (80-66). The Pack's last win came Feb. 2 when they defeated UCCS, 86-78 at home. The night before CSU-Pueblo fell to then-No. 16 Mines, 90-67.
• The ThunderWolves never led in a game where the Yellow Jackets shot 55.4 percent from the field and hit 13 3-pointers, en route to their fifth straight victory. CSU-Pueblo shot 42.1 percent from the field and hit on just 6-of-23 (26.1%) of its 3-point attempts.
• The Pack won the rebounding battle 34-31, which included 11 offensive boards. BHSU capitalized on 12 ThunderWolves turnovers to produce 19 points and the road team added 10 fast break points aided by eight steals.
• Center
Jonathan Hall came off the bench in the second half and scored a team-high 11 points in nine minutes of play. He shot 4-of-6 (66.7%) from the field and hit on 3-of-6 from the free throw line. Hall added three rebounds.
• Guard
BJ Hardy was the only other player to reach double figures, as he scored 10 points off the bench with a 3-for-4 (75%) performance from the field, which included two 3-pointers. Also off the pine, forward
Cade Carrol gathered a team-best nine rebounds. Center
Jason Anderson had eight points, four rebounds and team-best four assists.
• Against, South Dakota Mines, the Pack shot 43.6 percent from the field, while the Hardrockers produced an 58.3 percentage, hit 10 3-pointers and shot 52.6 percent from long range.
• CSU-Pueblo was able to force 18 Hardrocker turnovers and had 10 steals. The ThunderWolves lost the rebounding battle 37-22.
• Guard
Donovan Oldham led the team with 14 points, while Anderson totaled 13 points on 6-for-8 (75%) shooting from the field.

Tyson Gilbert added seven points and team-highs in rebounds (4) and assists (tied with 2).
THE PACK
• The Pack are 2-8 on the road this season with their last road win coming Jan. 4 at Colorado Christian by the score of 102-62.
• CSU-Pueblo owns 3.2 blocks per game to rank fourth in the league, while its 73 total blocks is also fourth.
• The ThunderWolves have knocked down 9.2 3-pointers per game (211 total is tied for third) this season to sit tied for fourth in the conference.
• The Pack are scoring 74.7 points per game, but allowing 81.8 points per contest this season.
• Redshirt-junior
Donovan Oldham leads the team with 13.3 points per game. His 85.3 percent shooting from the charity stripe is good for fourth in the conference. He went 12-for-12 from the line against Arkansas-Fort Smith to tie for first in the league this season with the most free throws made while posting a perfect percentage.

Jason Anderson is second on the team with 10.5 points per game. He is shooting at a 56.5 percent clip this season. His 4.8 rebounds per game is a team best.

Gavin Liggett has dropped a team-best 46 3-pointers to rank 12th in the RMAC. He's tied for 12th in 3-point field goals per game with 2.0. He attempted 17 3-pointers at Westminster to have the second most attempts in a game by a member of the RMAC this season. He hit eight of those 17 attempts.
• Junior
Harvey Barr has 19 blocks this season to rank 11th in the conference (0.9 rpg). His five blocks against Dixie State ranks tied for the most by an RMAC player this season.
• Freshman
Tyson Gilbert dished out 10 assists at Dixie State to post the second most assists in a game by a member of the RMAC this season. He leads the team with 2.3 assists per game.
• Sophomore
Corey Seng recorded three straight double-doubles from Dec. 14-Jan. 4. In those three games he averaged 13 points, 10.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game, while shooting 48.3 percent from the field. He pulled down a career-high 11 rebounds against Colorado Christian, while his 17 points against Westminster was just shy of a career-high (18 points last season).
• Head Coach
Ralph Turner is in his eighth season as bench boss of the Pack and owns a 115-102 (.530) overall record. He coached his 200th game as a member of the ThunderWolves Nov. 24 against Lubbock Christian.
THE MOUNTAIN LIONS
• The Mountain Lions are 14-9 overall with an 11-6 conference record to sit in a three-way tie for fourth in the league standings. UCCS is 2-4 in its last six games. The Mountain Lions won both home games last weekend after losing to the Pack. UCCS won 71-70 against MSU Denver Friday before owning a 97-87 victory against Chadron State Saturday.
• UCCS is averaging 82.3 points per game to rank fourth in the league and is allowing 82.6 points per contest, which is second to last in the RMAC.
• In the RMAC, the Mountain Lions lead the league in assists per game (15.7 apg) and are third in assist/turnover ratio (1.2). UCCS is fourth in the conference in steals per game (6.9 spg) and fifth in turnover margin (+0.7). The squad is tied with the ThunderWolves for fourth in the conference with 9.2 3-pointers per game.
• Padiet Wang leads the team with 12.9 points per game. He is second in the RMAC with 1.9 steals per game.
• Blend Avdili adds 12.4 points per game and leads the team with 3.2 assists per game (11th in the RMAC). He ranks seventh in the league with a 1.5 assist/turnover ratio.
• Brandon Malone leads the team with 40 3-pointers made. Malone owns 11.4 points per game. There are five players scoring in double figures, as DaRaun Clark has 11.0 points per game and Dalton Walker adds 10.4 points per game.
THE OREDIGGERS
• The Orediggers have won 19 straight and own a 20-3 overall record with a perfect 17-0 mark in league play. Mines is ranked No. 11 in the the NABC coaches' poll and No. 13 in the D2SIDA sports information poll. The team won twice at home last weekend against Chadron State (90-56) and MSU Denver (66-60).
• CSM has a +13.7 scoring margin to rank first in the RMAC and 12th nationally. The advantage is twice that of second in the league (+6.7). The Orediggers are scoring 83.5 points and allowing 69.8 points per game, both good for second in the conference.
• Mines is tied for ninth nationally with a 50.8 field goal percentage (2nd in the league) and tied for 16th in Division II with an RMAC-best 40.5 percentage from long range. The squad also owns a league-best 76.9 free throw percentage. The team carries a +7.3 rebounding margin to lead the RMAC and sit T-17th nationally. The Orediggers have a 1.4 assist/turnover ratio that is also a league best and ranks 25th nationally. Mines's 4.7 blocked shots per game is T-11th in DII and a league-best. The squad also has the fewest total turnovers in the conference this season (22nd in Division II). Their 15.0 assists per game is third in the RMAC.
• Mason Baker is 11th in the league in scoring with 15.1 points per game. His 87.4 free throw percentage is second in the RMAC.
• Ben Sonnefeld is second in the RMAC with 4.3 assists per game, while his 2.8 assist/turnover ratio not only leads the RMAC, but sits 17th in Division II. He is second on the team with 14.1 points per game and fourth in the league with 33.8 minutes played per game.
• Ben Clare's 59.0 field goal percentage is an RMAC-best and ranks 25th nationally. His 1.2 blocks per game is good for a tie for fourth. Clare has posted 12.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per game this season.
• Michael Glen leads the team and ranks sixth in the conference with 7.2 rebounds per game. His 1.3 blocks per game is third in the league. He also adds 11.4 points per game.
• Brendan Sullivan is a fifth member of the squad to average double-figures in scoring with 11.1 points per game. He is shooting 53.7 percent from the field.
LOOKING AHEAD
• The ThunderWolves will play their final three games at home starting with Feb. 22-23 dates with MSU Denver and Chadron State. Both games begin at 7:30 p.m. The season finale is set for March 1 against New Mexico Highlands, also at 7:30 p.m.
