PUEBLO, Colo. (Dec. 5, 2019) –The Colorado State University-Pueblo men's basketball team opens Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play Dec. 6-7 at Adams State University and Fort Lewis College. Both contests are set to begin at 7:30 p.m.

THE PACK
Â
• The ThunderWolves went 2-4 during nonconference play. The Pack began the season with a pair of home wins Nov. 8-9. CSU-Pueblo defeated Cameron, 92-69 and MSU Texas, 69-64. In a pair of road games last weekend, the ThunderWolves fell to Texas A&M University-Kingsville (70-58) and Angelo State University (92-79).

• Four different players are averaging 10 or more points per game and five different players have at least four rebounds per contest.Â

• Senior guardÂ
Brandon McGhee leads the team with 13.7 points per game and is shooting 55.7 percent from the field (11th in the RMAC). He leads the team with 3.3 assists per game (T-14th in the league) and adds 5.2 rebounds per contest.Â

• Sophomore guard
 David Simental has 12.0 points per game and has started each of the six contests. He is 21-for-22 from the free throw line for an RMAC-best 95.5 percentage. He is 10th in NCAA Division II in free throw percentage. He adds a team-best seven steals.Â

• Freshman forwardÂ
Jaedon Bowles has produced 11.5 points per game with four contests coming off the bench. He has a team-high 12 3-pointers. He is shooting 47.1 percent from long range.

• Senior forwardÂ
Donovan Oldham leads the team and ranks T-18th in the RMAC in rebounding with 6.0 boards per game. He adds 8.3 points per game.Â

• The Pack are shooting 37.7 percent from 3-point land to sit 7th in the RMAC. The team is 49-of-130 to average 8.2 made 3-pointers per game.Â

• The Grizzlies own a 2-4 record this season with a 1-0 mark at home. Adams State is coming off a pair of losses to Montana State-Billings, 86-75 and 95-81.Â

• ASU has three players scoring in double figures with Kaelin Crane leading the team with 17.1 points per game. He ranks 8th in the RMAC in scoring, while his 62.2 percent effort from the field is good for 4th in the conference and 34th nationally. He adds 5.7 rebounds per game.
