ThunderWolves season ends at No. 1 UCCS

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (November 8, 2019) - The Colorado State University-Pueblo women's soccer season came to an end Friday at the foot of No. 1 ranked University of Colorado Colorado Springs, 5-0 in the opening round of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Tournament.

The ThunderWolves season ends at 6-10-2. It is the fourth year in a row for the Pack and third straight season that a Sierra Cardenas-led club made the postseason.

In Friday's maintee match at Mountain Lion Stadium, UCCS, who entered the weekend as the top team in all of Division II, put up two first half goals and added three more in the second period to come away the win.

The ThunderWolves were guided by Cara Siegel (Jr., Pueblo, Colo.) who fired five shots and two on goal. Summer Hatch (So., Elizabeth, Colo.) and Litzy Serna (Jr., West Jordan, UT) both had shots landing on frame.

CSU-Pueblo recorded one corner kick in the first half.

Pack goalkeeper Rylie Martin (Sr., Colorado Springs, Colo.) made seven saves.
